Likes: 1. Very Stable! I even used it being towed behind a boat. :) 2. Very easy to use. My 5 year old niece even paddled it around.Dislike: 1. If you are over 6 feet tall I suggest you get a wider SUP Board. If you are under 6 feet tall it's perfect!

I bought this SUP for my wife as a gift. I was so impressed with the quality of the board and the accessories as well as the unique design that I bought another Thurso SURF board. We now both enjoy paddle boarding with friends. I believe the Thurso Surf SUP offers the same great quality and accessories that you would expect in a more expensive SUP.

I've been in the market for a Kayak or SUP for quite a while. The craft that I really wanted was not available on Amazon and cost about $2400 and my immediate budget didn't match "my wants". I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of reviews and decided on the Thurso Surf Waterwalker 11 foot model. It had a lot of great reviews and the online videos all mentioned the "bend over backwards" customer service approach of the manufacturer. To confirm my decision I found that special zero interest financing was available if you have an Amazon credit card that spreads the payments out over 24 months. So I got it delivered Prime and its going to cost me about $27 a month for 24 months as long as I pay on time. That is a great deal! ........... All the accessories work well and seem to be 3 quality ......... There's a lot of talk online that indicates you can "backpack" this thing on an airplane or off through the hinterlands to some remote favorite fishing spot. Most of the reviews also say it's easy to get up and paddle. I don't agree. I'm 6'-3" tall and weigh 230 pounds, 67 years young and just had total knee replacement, but I'm in reasonably 3 shape. I think backpacking this thing through an airport or very far over less than ideal terrain would be a real chore and get old pretty fast. That said, one of the reasons I got an SUP was to help increase my fitness level ........... It seemed very unstable when I tried to paddle while standing, but it was my first time. I had no problems paddling from my knees or while sitting on my butt. However, it was very uncomfortable after just a few minutes. I surfed a lot when I was younger, but it's not like riding a bike. All of the reviews said stability was great. It's not .....at least for a guy my age and size. I'm going to keep it because I think I can make a set of outriggers out of PVC pipe and crab pot floats for under $100 that will stabilize it. I'm also going to add a milk crate to sit and paddle some of the time. I'll try to modify the SUP ...... and then modify my review. I'm thinking it will soon be a 5 star!

The paddle board is 5. The paddle for the board disconnects easilyI lost my paddle part, the third time out on board. It sank to the bottom of the lake????But.... Amazon emailed me, and is replacing the paddle!!! Fantastic! This is a sure sign of a great company!!! Yeah!

First the 3,Thurso Surf is one of the best vendors I have worked with, they will respond to questions right away and do everything to make sure you are happy with your purchase. The package they provide is one of the best that I have seen after weeks of searching around and doing research.-The super light carbon fiber shaft paddle feels great and with the additional pin at the bottom, no longer has the issue of losing the lower piece.-The cooler bag is of 5 quality and has plenty of room for drinks, snacks, and anything else you want to bring along on the trip. There are different compartments and pockets on the inside and outside of the bag. The only thing I wish it had was a carrying handle which would make it easier to carry when not attached to the board.-The pump feels heavy duty and works great in single and dual action modes to inflate and deflate the board.-You also get a nice coiled leash, and a waterproof cellphone holder.-The removable fins are made from heavy duty plastic and feel very solid-the deck pad is very grippy, it never felt slipperyNow the only issue I had with the whole thing was that the board I received has a twist/warping to it, it seemed to have gotten worse after I inflated the board to 15PSI and used it on the water. When laid on a flat surface, the left fin was on the ground but the right one was about 1.5" off the ground. I heard this is a common issue with longer boards (I had the 11' model, it might not be a problem on the 10.6' ) . Thurso Surf sent me a replacement board right away, but unfortunately that one had the same problem. Perhaps I may be a tad too picky, but I didn't want to spend $650 on a defective product so I ended up returning the board. Most people probably won't even notice the warping.I definitely want to revisit Thurso Surf again in the future, hopefully their QA process will have improved by then. I would have given a lower rating if it wasn't for their 5 customer service.

Great board, we bought 2 one of each size having spent a day on them with the family can report they are nice looking and perform well easily carrying 2 children and an adult. There is not much difference between the two sizes bigger is slightly more buoyant with 3 people on it but both fine and dont feel very different when paddling 1 up. Paddle is 3 as is the pump easily inflating the boards. Deck Bag and phone carriers nice additional touch
