Definitely not your travel board, but if you're buying it for it's size, multiple carry and stability, that is the trade-off. It has carried the whole family: man, woman, child and dog (albeit all under 70kgs each) without a problem. The full length textured upper surface keeps everyone on board without sliding off, and also helps get back onboard after a quick dive off the side. It can track reasonably well into wind with it's three fins, and it's pretty difficult to fall off even with the full family on-board. That said, turning around is challenging, and you need to factor in a larger turning radius than a smaller board. It fills the entire boot of a crossover, leaving only enough space for a 2nd smaller board. Also a board this huge should come with an electric pump (even though the included 2action pump is good, it's still quite a workout). Although a 3rd party solution will make your experience that much enjoyable.

Selbst bei leichten Wellen und Wind noch standsicher. Nicht so viel Platz wie erwartet aber trotzdem super.

So far I've used Maxine (as I call her) on lakes and rivers in all kinds of conditions. The Max is a remarkably stable platform and feels solid underfoot. There's a ton of room for any gear you need to carry, handles in all the right places, and paddling for hours on end seems effortless even in breezy conditions. All the accessories are of the same high quality, meaning you won't need to spend extra to upgrade the pump, paddle, etc. The included wallet for fins, repair kit, etc is also a stroke of genius - I also use it for river passes, sticking plasters and all kinds of small bits that are sometimes needed on a trip. Negatives? Quite heavy, and I'm not big on the fin attachment systems - much prefer the click down tabs like on the Waterwalker for ease and reliability. Overall a fantastic package which I'm sure will still be with me years from now.

I could not be more happy with this paddleboard. The build quality is 5 and the engineering side of it is well thought out, I could not be more happy. I am 6 foot 2 inches tall and weigh 275 and this SUV is as stable as as a Jon boat! Love the grip surface on the entire top side and all the mounts, handles and tie downs you could possibly need. Even the straps to hold your paddle on each side. It tracks just fine and I even lost a fin from not securing it properly and TS was right there to replace it, GREAT customer service too!!! I already have my eye on the Expedition 150 once I get a bit more experienced to gain a bit of speed! Love this board, you will not be disappointed.
