Hi again,<br>Reg. colour, see response for previous post. <br><br>Reg. softness, Alskad is a very soft silk tie in our opinion/experience. Perhaps your perception is in reference to our liner - we've chosen a wool liner to add stability to the tie, which in our view improves the fall of the tie and also helps it keep its shape in the long run. Many other manufacturers use a liner of polyester (cheaper) which they then brush to imitate the wool liner quality, but in our view, it's not good enough. This wool liner might cause the tie to seem slightly stiffer than with a polyester liner, which is perhaps what you're experiencing.<br><br>Another possibility, is that when ordering silk you actually expected satin (this is a reflection based on reactions from previous customers) Satin is a weaving method often practised with the silk type used in pyjamas or underwear.
