“The V1 is a good all metal hot end extruder. The filament has never jammed in the melt zone. The V1 fan duct passes half or even less cooling air over the print which is reasonable for an all metal hot end, however, for PLA the V2 duct with it's higher flow fan produces a better surface finish. Tiertime makes the V2 STL fan duct file available for printing. So by changing the STL parts I have a hybrid extruder that works great.”
