“BUYER BEWARE. Bought this as part of the MK II to MK III upgrade and could not get to work. Worked with customer service to get it working, and after some back and forth, ended up receiving another board. The printer worked for a single job before bricking. 400$ down the drain.”
“I consider the connector used for the 20 conductor ribbon cable to the heated bed inadequate for the current it carries. Designers use multiple conductors (and contact points) which in theory is within load for each path. In practice, all pressure point connectors have resistance at the contact and will heat (and overheat) with high current flow. This connector is very poor. I have suffered two burn out failures at this point, with ribbon cable failures.”
