“My silver tie was needed because I had been invited to a formal light tea and speeches on the 25th Anniversary of a nearby Lions' Club (We call it the 25th Charter) I wore a black suit with my club pins (awards and insignia) and new white shirt. The tie and top-pocket handkerchief were just what I wanted, they came on time, they are smart, and I shall wear them again. Next time it will be semi-formal with a dark blue plain shirt.”
