Was given 1200-1400 delivery, 1400 I called to chase and was told there was ‘an issue in the depot’ called back and told ‘before 1600’ this meant I had to leave my wife to accept delivery. 1600 she calls panicked as the ‘kerbside delivery’ didn’t happen. My wife was made, by the driver, to man handle the packs of tiles off of the lorry and into our garage. The tail lift wasn’t working and the pallet was smashed so couldn’t be used. My wife weighs 8 stone and the bags of grout/adhesive were 20kg, the 15 packs of tiles even heavier, all done by herself with no help or apology from the driver. To add insult the driver made her take the empty broken pallet!
Would be 5 stars other than the delivery, will reconsider using again just for this reason, totally unacceptable.”

We are very sorry to hear that your order was delayed. This is certainly not something that we would expect. We do use a third-party courier for delivery, and would still expect the driver to be courteous and assist where possible, however, in only offering a kerbside delivery service, this does restrict the driver in terms of offering help as he is not insured to remove goods from a pallet. “Half my titles arrived broken. Driver just shrugged his shoulders and said it wasn’t his problem. When I contacted tile mountain about this they refuse to give any refund.”

I would like to apologise for the damaged tiles you have received. Typically we ask that any damaged tiles are reported within 48hours of the goods being delivered. After looking into your order, although outside of this timescale, I can see we had requested images and a confirmed number, and we are waiting for a response.
