“Bought these for our utility room as wanted a terrazzo look but needed to get something on a budget and after seeing them in the showroom thought they would be a good look. They look great and we're very pleased with how they look. They look quite shiny in my attached photos but must be the light as was taken at night and they definitely aren't as shiny as my photos.”
“Tiles were perfect, all identically sized and totally flat. Our tilers were able to lay them with zero lippage whatsoever which was key. Not slippy at all. And look great flowing through multiple rooms.”
“We have used these in our kitchen. A subtly beautiful tile that has transformed the look of our kitchen; it doesn't have the glare of many other tiles, and looks a little like pebbles on the bed of a chalk stream. The tiles were laid with very little wastage due to chipping, etc, but check that your tiler can handle them as they are 800 x 800mm.”
“We used the Hannover Baldocer tiles and the quality is stunning. We are always complemented on how beautiful they look. Could not be happier and Tile Mountain is definitely the place to buy them the service is 100%”
“The Tile is beautiful, however, I am purchasing a tile for my bathroom. It needs to be non slip and I am tiling uniformly straight into the shower. This tile doesn't have enough grip for a wetroom space.
Good quality and beautiful tile otherwise.”
“Seriously stunning tiles - but I expect nothing less from Spain! They were put in by my tiler with zero breakages and he was very happy working with them. We recently moved house and our old Labrador kept doing the splits, baby giraffe style, on the old laminate floor we'd inherited. I'm happy to report that she has had no such incidents on these tiles.
Tile Mountain were excellent in answering my questions, sending out samples rapidly and replacing 2 damaged on delivery tiles. I also used the grout colour they recommended and it blends in beautifully.
However. There is a 'but.' I'm not going to knock a star off for this as I'm reviewing the product. But quite honestly Tile Mountain need to take a close look at who they contract for delivery. Despite filling in all the bits on the website about having a narrow street (though the removal lorry and the bin lorry both fit along it) and suggesting a smaller vehicle, the driver was having none of it and wasn't going to drive into my road. There are about 20 metres from the end of the street to our house and he wanted to charge me £15 to wheel the pallet on a trolley that ridiculously short distance. Luckily I'd already read similar reports on Tile Mountain and had organised for my fitters to be here during delivery. Thankfully, they hadn't been to the same Jobsworth school as the delivery driver. They wheeled the trolley the 20 metres while the driver sat on my wall and gave a running commentary "They doin' it wrong, innit?" and other equally helpful comments. I honestly expected him to light up and pop a tin of lager while he enjoyed the sideshow! I explained to him that I had filled in the bit about having a narrow street on the Tile Mountain website and he came back with "Well they don't read that innit?"
So, Tile Mountain, an excellent company, seriously let down by delivery. Luckily I have lovely tiles and am very happy.”
