“This is just a sample of a 6 inch square terracotta quarry tile. The sample is everything I wanted it to be and Tile Mountain seem to have by far the cheapest price per sq m I can find so I will be ordering a number to do the job.”
“I ordered these tiles at short notice when we had the opportunity to bring forward planned work on our house. The process was easy, only needing 48 hours notice.
Delivery was a bit frustrating. We were given a day and time slot, the time came and went, the tracking then showed the pallet as being refused.
Chasing is hard because you have to call Tile Mountain, who have to call the delivery firm, who have to call the driver to ask for an update, and then relay the message back through Tile Mountain to you. I called to chase, they said they’d call me back in 30 mins. They didn't call back. After 4 hours and having chased 3 times, I was told the pallet got damaged and thats why it wasn’t delivered.
I organised another delivery day. Tile Mountain agreed to pass on a different person’s mobile number who would be able to receive the tiles on my behalf while I was away. Whether they did or not, the courier still called me while I was out of the country. Thankfully after they couldn’t get through they just knocked on the door, so we got the tiles ok in the end.”
