“The quarry tile is an absolute classic. A simple design that’s more than just a plain, boring old tile. It has a subtle texture that makes it pop and stand out from a regular smooth tile. It is the perfect blend of red and orange that gives it a rich tone without being too overpowering, making it a perfect match for light or dark colours. We will be using them against our lighter kitchen cabinets and worktops (they are sage green and light oak) and it serves as the perfect contrast. Another feature of the tile is how the rich red dominates in darker light, but when the sun hits them through the window, the deep orange tones are highlighted beautifully (I’ve tried my best to show this in my photos but photos don’t do them justice).
It’s amazing how a tile of such simplicity adds so much depth and dimension to a space. Take it from someone who is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to choosing the right decor for my home. I ordered what felt like a thousand and one samples of red/orange/terracotta tile and always came back to the quarry tile. Would 100% recommend!”
