HEAVENSAKE Trio Reviews

4.4 Rating 8 Reviews
In my Tippsy Sake journey, this trio of drinks is probably one of the overall smoothest of sakes that I've had thus far. It feels like fancy sake, especially with the French connection that it has. 2nd time ordering it and no regrets!

I really enjoyed the HeavenSake Trio! They all had a unique taste and would definitely buy them again.

Struggling to give Heavensake even one star. Maybe for pretty bottles but the Sake itself was a huge disappointment, especially for the price. There are some really good sake's that are relatively inexpensive. Heavensake (of any grade) is really expensive and not so good. You never know unless you try, so at least I can say I tried it. Very little flavor in both nose and taste. No body, no depth and a horrible aftertaste. Rushed for water to wash the after taste away. The Junmai Gingo was definitely the worst of the three. I poured out the whole bottle after a couple of tastes. No way I would enjoy it, or even subject myself to that kind of torture to even get a buzz. The other two, (Junmai and Junmai Daigingo) well, I'm gonna keep them around if for nothing more than for them to do a job, but not gonna promise they won't get poured out either. Buyers be warned. I honestly don't know if I got a bad batch, or the bottles got too hot during shipping, but what I received was utterly disgusting.

Hi Allen, Thank you so much for your review. HEAVEN SAKE “Junmai Ginjo” has a light lemon peel and creme brûlée, so someone does not like this taste of sake. This sake is supported by almost-butterscotch flavor with spirited notes of raisin. We take pride in our extra care and quality of sake during summer. We transport your order via temperature-controlled trucks to our regional hubs throughout the country before handing it off to local carriers for ground shipping to mitigate the risk of spoilage. Your comments regarding the service you received at our store are very important to us.

I wasn’t expecting much out of these honestly, but after trying them they quickly became my favorites. Drinking each comes with their own sublime experience and I would highly recommend all three of these to anyone who likes sake.

Two out of three sakes are wonderful, I did not care for the HEAVENSAKE “Junmai 12”. It had a thin flavor profile with no body or depth of flavor. The two I did enjoy are the HEAVENSAKE “Junmai Ginjo” and HEAVENSAKE “Junmai Daiginjo”. Wonderful sakes with good bodies and beautiful, smooth depth of flavor. Flavor sits on your tongue gently. You can’t go wrong with either sake.
