“This is my first nigori. I was pleased the texture was mild and barely noticeable. However, the kind of sweetness this has, combined with the sharper sake flavor is not one I enjoy compared to other styles. There is also an obvious difference in taste if you do not shake the bottle to redistribute the particles. And by shake, I mean slowly move the bottle around. If you do not do this every time you pour a drink into someone's cup, it changes the taste noticeably. This is also the first sake where there is a big difference in taste between room temperature and the recommended chill.”
