I could taste and smell rice. I bought both the Honjozo and the Junmai at the same time. Personally, I thought they tasted the same. Maaaaybe I liked the Junmai a bit more. BUT I also don't have very refined taste buds. I preferred it a little a little cooler than room temp.

I received both this Yeti Junmai and an almost identical bottle of the Yeti Honjozo. I had to look closely to see that they were different. Drinking, I had to taste closely to see that they were related. For whatever reason, I did not resonate with the Junmai version. OK sake, for sure, but it didn't strike me as a special sake especially designed for my idiosyncratic taste buds.

I enjoyed this one very much. It's so easy to drink, slightly delicate, but still interesting. I think it would be great with food or by itself (I drank it by itself). I only drank it very cold, but would be interested to try at different temperatures.
