“If you do not know what kind of saki you want I recommend the monthly subscription. It comes with 3 bottles they're small but wonderful every single time. It is something to start off with because they have a wide variety of saki's that can get very expensive. In the end when you have a few of the subscriptions you will know which kind of saki you will like. I already ordered 6 different bottles from them individual. It was get I like sweet and light but I did try rich and dry.”
“If you are a sake novice like me, this monthly subscription is a great way to get more familiar with wide range of sake. So far, each box comes with three 300ml bottles. Two bottles are straight up sake (?) and the third is flavored like plum sake or cloudy sake with sweeter flavor.
I like tasting to compare differences so that I can discover what I like and not care for much. The third bottle choice has been fun because these are typically the types of sake that I wouldn't buy at stores.
I also appreciate the cards that come with each bottle, explaining where they are made, what flavor notes they may have, food paring ideas.
