“All of the sake was top quality. There were a couple that I didn't like, but that was only because the tasting notes weren't as sweet as I usually like. My husband and I spent a Saturday afternoon reading the booklets that came with the bottles and trying everything out. It made for a lovely little at home date.”
“We got our welcome box and have worked our way through 5 bottles (saving daiginjo for last). Our favorite was the bijin, if you dont drink it too cold it has an amazing smell, almost a ricarde or ouzo hint. Our least favorite was the most beautiful bottle, the nigiri snow maiden; we just did not like it. The videos are great, but we have sake where we are from and for us the info cards were the best and a great way to save what we liked and note what we did not. Turned around and pre-purchased two more months we liked it so much!”
“Not only are the actual sakes really nice, I rather enjoyed the materials that came with them. Since a lot of the terminology comes from Japanese and is rather difficult to get my head around, the reference materials are super useful.”
