“Another great pick from the Sake Club! When the first fragrance I could detect was fruit, I was sure I would like this one, and I did. While I typically do not notice it, for some reason this time I could taste how the water used provided a certain lightness and overall clarity to the flavor. It is mildly sweet with the right amount of dryness to contrast it. While I am not sure it is strong enough to hold up on ice, it definitely excelled chilled. While maybe not my favorite ginjo, I can still say this one is worth a try.”
“I first tried this at room temperature, and wasn’t impressed. It had a metallic or medicine type of finish that I didn’t like very much. So I put it in the fridge to cool down and try at a different temperature. It really did make a difference. Cleaner finish and much more crisp highlights. Not my top tier sake, but overall pretty good chilled.”
“It had a very smooth bordering on creamy body. The fruit notes were light with a nice kiwi finish. Very delicious and paired well with the pork I had.”
