Not great for my taste but loved by others. Was better cold vs hot, tried it because this one is versatile.

Hi IRENE NG, Thank you so much for your review. Kenbishi “Kuromatsu” is a good way to drink at a hot sake or regular cold temperature. If you would like to drink with cold sake, I recommend Kikusui " junmai". We also have a lot of great quality of sake on our website.

It’s got a nice finish to the rich dry taste

Hi Dan Catalano, Thank you so much for your review! Kenbishi is clean but kind of dry sake, so it can be hot sake too! If you want to change taste, I recommend you that make Kenbishi be hot! I hope you will also love it. Knpai!

It’s nice that these bottles are accessible state side (you can find them at Binny’s), and come in 900ml. GREAT sake to drink warm. It tastes quite neutral chilled, but warmed up it gets really flavorful: nutty and sweet.

Thank you for the tasting details! It is rich and dry sake so warm temp is a great way to serve.

This was a random purchase while traveling in Japan. Unfamiliar with all the options in the local liquor store, I asked for a recommendation and was given this bottle. I didn't think to try it warmed, but in retrospect, it would have made a different. For me this was more enjoyable with dinner than as a solo sipper.
