“As my first nigori, I expected it to be sweet and it certainly delivered in that category. It has a wonderful sweetness that I'd describe as syrup like due to the notes of cream that it has. The rice sediments feel like they coat your mouth and allow more of the sweetness through. The ending is remarkably smooth as well. I had it with steak and other salty foods and found that to be the best way to enjoy it. Would definitely recommend!”
Hi Diego
Thank you so much for your review.
Yes. Nigori means Unfiled , so that taste like sweet , and feel like UMAMI.
I also recommended to you sake which is kurosawa nigori. This sake is also unified. I hope you will love it!
Thank you so much ! Have fun with NIGORI.
“I have a newfound appreciation of unfiltered sake, and this is definitely among my favorites. Perfectly sweet, would absolutely recommend to anyone on the fence about unfiltered sake.”
“A very mildly sweet flavored sake, not really my preference. There was more bite than expected and the aftertaste wasn’t exactly enjoyable. I did get a hint of strawberry as it got a little warmed up which was pleasant but other than that there wasn’t much complexity to this sake. Was left slightly disappointed with this Nigori.”
Thank you for your honest review, and this is one of the controversial sake that either people love it or hate it. Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! Hope you will find favorite Nigori soon!
