“This bottle is a must try in the honjozo category. Further, if you are having a tasting party, this would be an excellent addition to the line up. I enjoyed this chilled and it started with a light, fruit-like sweetness, which was followed by a wonderful umami filled finish. Typically, the sweetness seems paired with a certain level dryness, but I found this one to be unique in its flavor profile. To me, this was a sake that stood apart and further demonstrated how diverse and complex this beverage can be.”
