“I enjoyed this one chilled and went back and forth on if I would give it a four or five star rating. While I would consider it on the lower end of my five star ratings, it met the flavor profile I enjoy, so ultimately gave it the higher score. The first sip was fresh and lively and had that sweet tropical fruit taste as mentioned in the notes. To me, it came across as being balanced with an umami finish rather than a dry one which I think suited this sake. It was a delightful sip. Though, later during the week as I drank it, the flavor seemed weaker and more muted and lacked the overall impact I had enjoyed earlier which surprised me a little. It managed to redeem itself with the last glass as all its flavors were back on full display and that is what moved it back up. While I may not be planning to reorder this one right away, it did encourage me to explore this brand more.”
