“I found this to be a lovely and versatile sake to pair with food. At colder temps this sake has more of a melon and other tropical fruit forward taste, but as it warms up there are other nut notes that shine through.”
“Tasty when chilled, but it really opens up and develops full flavor and aroma as it approaches room temperature, with lychee, cashew, and floral notes, but a clean and dry finish. Excellent on its own, and matches well to meat dishes.”
“Really solid, semi dry, enjoyable sake. It didn't blow me away, but I wasn't upset to receive it, and I did finish it quite quickly :) (I drank it chilled)”
“Dry and light with aroma hints to spices and flowers. Not a big surprise as a hot sake category champion to taste awesome at 120oF, however it is so well balance between dryness and acidity that even cold is a pleasure, better in ochoko to bump a little sweetness notes”
“It has a nice aroma. While its SMV is +5.5 and Acidity is 1.2, I did not find it dry or light enough, though my wife found it a bit too try. We both agreed, however, that it tasted great when it was served hot.”
