“This was a pleasant sake. With the initial tasting it has the clean and light fruit flavor described. While not mentioned, I also got a hint of pineapple. This was matched with a good amount of dryness. The second tasting the following evening reminded of a wheat beer. It had that light sweetness and a dryness that I thought had a hops like note to it.”
“This sake was one of the first hiyaoroshi I've tried and was a great intro to this type of seasonal release. With notes of melon, pear, and rice, this brew pairs nicely with some warm fall dishes.”
