“I was so stoked to see Dewazakura added to the catalog as this is a brand I have really wanted to try out as I tend to like Yamagata fruity and clean Dai/Ginjos. Overall I quite liked it. It has a very enticing fruity nose and overall is quite balanced with some sweetness in the middle. I did detect some unwelcome bitterness on the backend the first night. When we reopened the bottle a few days later the bitterness was not perceptible so I'm not sure how to explain that. The bottle was dated April 2021 so it certainly was fresh and I was very happy to be introduced to the brand.”
