“This is a lovely and understated sake, calm, smooth, easy drinking. We enjoyed it under the full moon to experience the "dreamy effect" the creators wish us to experience when drank under the moon, and it certainly was a lovely accompaniment to our moon viewing. Light and dry, I primarily noticed notes of chrysanthemum flowers, along with some mild fruity sweetness like apples or stone fruits, not summery tropical fruits. This sake suits the late summer and fall months very well because its flavor profile is mild, not bright. I would buy this sake again.”
