“I was curious how a sake inspired by a poem would taste. Well, it was light and well balanced, not too sweet nor dry, and overall, easy to drink. I thought it was a little better chilled, but the pleasant maltiness became much more present as it got closer to room temperature. Overall, a nice sake that can be enjoyed any day of the week.”

“Aichi-ken has been my Japanese home-away-from-home for 30 years, so I've had the opportunity to enjoy Horaisen-family sakes, including Ku. Beshi is a really nice sake -- not overly fruity, but with just the right amount of rice maltiness. You will enjoy it both with or without food. Beshi is an excellent value junmai selection.”
