“Sour and not tasty at all! This one was a train wreck in my mouth. To be honest, my bottle may have spoiled on this way over here in this quarter’s box. I hope that’s the case, otherwise this would be a terrible surprise to pull on someone. I was really looking forward to this one too, as nigori sake is a recent discovery of mine that’s rapidly turning into a favourite. This one, though, was unfortunately a letdown and went down the sink. :-(”

“This is a very fun and unique sake - a sparkling nigiri daiginjo!? Very cool. I was expecting it to be very sweet, fruity, and rich, but the tingliness of the fizz kept it unexpectedly lighter and drier. There is nice evolution in the glass if you let the carbonation dissipate and it to warm slightly - the fruit and sweetness creeps in - delicious! If you buy a 720 ml bottle - drink it with friends, as I suspect the carbonation won't last if stored (plus it's a fun bottle to share!).”
