Hakkaisan “Junmai Daiginjo” Reviews

4.5 Rating 27 Reviews
This is my all-around Junmai Daiginjo that works perfectly with cold seafood dishes. I have been trying other high-end Junmai Daiginjo sakes and finally found the one for me with affordability. It is smooth, flavorful, and versatile.

Very clean taste and very refreshing. Definitely a quality Sake but at a reasonable price. I took advantage of an offered discount and was not disappointed. I will definitely be purchasing more!

Very clean flavor and just a touch dry. Great sake!

This is a delicious, dry daiginjo that I enjoy when I'm having fattier or creamier foods as the acidity and dryness cuts through the fatty flavors well.

Everything you would expect from a junmai dang I join. Crisp finish, very smooth and leaves you wanting “ just one more”. We served chilled with shrimp, spiced mushrooms and sushi. Delightful and would be a good choice for even heartier foods such as teriyaki’s or Kobe beef. Good value as well. Kompai

Clean, gentle, dry, floral, slight sweetness on the finish, super refreshing! One of the best bottles of sake that I’ve had in a long time!

This is the best sake I’ve ever tasted. It can be quite dangerous because it’s so smooth. The sake is a little dry with a hint of sweetness at the end. Highly recommend it!

Hi Richard, This liquor is so easy to drink. Then, the light dry comes first, and finally it has a refreshing sweet taste. We also have some other Daiginjo sake.

This is a great bottle, especially for those who like a cleaner style of sake with complex fruity aroma. It's a great example of Niigata style sake, slightly reserved but very nuanced. We enjoyed this without food but I would imagine it would be fantastic with sushi or some lighter flavour profile dishes.
