This was a solid Daiginjo. Nothing special about it but not subpar.

Fruity on the nose with hints of green apple and pear. Light, floral and very pleasant on the palate.

Subtle and enjoyable. Would love this one with any meal.

Dangerously drinkable! I found this to be a light, sweeter sake with a nice, soft mouthfeel. I also tasted a hint of grain, which I think balanced the overall flavor. I am unsure if I liked this more than No. 13 due to their different flavor profiles, but found this to be equally enjoyable.

Overall this is a pretty good sake. At the price is I think it compares very well. The flavor profile is fairly light but has some nice notes that reminded me a bit of a "taru" (cedar cask) sake. It had similar aroma notes, though no flavor notes in that area. Very enjoyable. As with most sakes an overnight chilled will mellow the flavor a bit.

Sakari's No. 12 is really pleasant even by itself, like some sort of flower nectar with a noticeable, yet not overpowering, sweetness and flavor depth. It feels soft to the tongue, even after a whole glass. Floral, lightly fruity (pear is an accurate comparison), and a bit reminiscent of maple or another tree sap-type flavor.
