“A very refreshing sake for a hot Summer day! I really enjoyed this sake cold, but as it starts to warm up, you really get the watermelon flavors. While the alcohol is prevalent, there is a lot of fruit flavor initially, which gives way to the grain flavors and leaves a refreshing aftertaste. This sake paired well with many different dishes, but was able to shine brightest with sashimi or grilled chicken. In the flavor metrics guide provided by tippsy, this sake is shown to be light and dry, but you definitely get sweetness shining through.”
