The best sparkling sake I have ever tried. It's light and has a nice sweetness but never fails to impress.

Really enjoyed this sake, first time I've ever tried "sparkling". Crisp, clean and sweet. Will definitely order more when I finish the current bottle.

Hi Mandy, Thank you so much for your review! Mio is so sweet sake, so it is good for the entry sake. This sake must be good pair with some light seafoods and fruits. We also have some different sweet sake which is Yuzu, Plum or Nigori sake on our website!

Very nicely carbonated. Closer to a sparkling cider than anything else in flavor profile. Very sweet taste of apple/pear. Sweetness hides the sake character.

Hi Chase, Thank you so much for your review. Shirakabegura “Mio” is so sweet sake, so this sake is really good sake to the entry. If you would like to try more dry and heavy sake, I recommend that Otokoyama which is dry sake. I hope you will like that sake!

It is light bodied, vividly sparking, gentle and fresh with decent aroma of rice and apple. Great balance between sweetness and acid. Especially the bottle looks so pretty like artwork. Really a great pick!

I have been enjoying sake since the mid 70s. I had a never heard of a “sparkling sake” until 2021. This wonderful, crisp and clean sake has the right blend between sweetness and effervescent. France has Champagne, Italy has Prosecco and Japan has Mio. I will be trying some peach purée mixed with Mio as another variation. My refrigerator will always have Mio inside.

This sake is really delicious! Bursting with bubbles and bright fruits, I pick up a lot of juicy apple and pear. Has a nice amount of sweetness to it, I would compare it to a moscato d'asti. This would go great with a charcuterie board, especially brie and blue cheese. I will definitely be bringing this to my next brunch for sure!
