Ryujin “Junmai Daiginjo” Reviews

This was surprisingly sweet - almost comparable to an unfiltered Nigori, which I usually enjoy with meals involving soy sauce or as a desert, sipping sake. Certainly not a bad tasting sake, just not what I was expecting. If purchasing again I would pair it with a nice sushi platter or other salted meal.

Delicate high end sake. Rich, floral and combined with subtle notes of pineapple and grapes. Unexpected high sweetness. I enjoyed it cold.

A bit sweeter than I was expecting, but very smooth and enjoyable to sip. I drank it chilled.

Much sweeter than expected - but as noted it mellows, although still too sweet for me.
