“I really liked Manju a lot. It is a good balance of dryness with fragrance and subtle sweetness. The price for this is a bit absurd however. In Japan you can buy this for about JPY 2000 which is like USD 20 of purchasing power. I get there are import costs + having to deal with the state-to-state nonsense regarding alcohol sales and distribution. But this one might be a bit high for some folks to stomach. If money is no object then I say go for it.”
“I actually ordered the junmai, but much to my delight this precious baby showed up instead. Tippsy, your loss was my gain. My, what a sophisticated and quality sake of the highest degree. Bright and engaging with some floral elements and even a bit of spice along the taste train. One of the best sakes I have ever tasted.”
“Over 9000 out of 10.
So light and unique I had to get more. Normally go for Demon slayer but this light refreshing sake is perfect for summer and honestly will be the one I share with first timers to spoil them.”
