“What a beautiful sake! Light, crisp and clean. The floral notes come out both on the nose and the palate. It’s light sweetness coupled with the fruit and flowers make for a nice complex experience. This is one of the best sake’s I’ve ever had.”

“We ordered two different sake from Tippsysake for a takeout kaiseki dinner with our “bubble” of 4. Hands down we all loved the smooth, sweet unbelievable flavor of this sake. It was rich and the fruity yet sophisticated long lasting flavor lingered on. We all felt this was a highlight of the dinner as it complimented the wagyu dish as well as the rich chawan-mushi with truffles.”
“I love this junmai -- it's complex and really interesting. I have been enjoying with a variety of foods. It has a long finish that is hard to pin down. If you're looking for a sake that isn't heavy, but is quite mouth-filling and delicious, Taiheikai should be on your list.”
“This saké opened with a twist to break the seal and a tug to remove the plug. It released an effervescent pop declaring its contents “fresh.” That was just the beginning of what was an experience reminiscent of a dry sherry touched by candied fruit. It wasn’t as full-bodied as a nigori but it coated the tongue with a coconut flavor that tasted persistently umami and finished grassy. I felt like I was enjoying a beautiful seaside flavor. Perhaps on an evening when a fire smolders close by and a smoky, tingly sweetness is permeating the salty air. It was gut warming. One of my favorites so far.”
