an interesting sake. it is "dry", but despite not having much sugar, there is an initial sweet taste . The finish is dry, as advertised. The label design is the opposite of sparse zen minimalism, and I love it. If I buy it again, it will be 3/4 for the label.

It is dry but not too strong. It has not changed its identity even half an hour after it was poured into a carafe. It's fruity and fits many different types of food. We had fried chicken and some Japanese style side dishes seasoned with soy sauce. All of them tasted good with this sake.

Too dry for me but I did love the fruity flavors!

Oh, man. I understand why some sake lovers extol the virtue of Yamagata sake. I had Eiko Fuji's Ginjo before which is fantastic. Now I tried their Honjozo which is on the expensive side for the style, but it really is amazing. Yes, it is 辛口 super dry, but there is some sweetness and nuance that brings you back for another sip and another. Highly recommended.

Hi DeanzaZZR, Thank you so much for your review. Dry liquor has many fans. It can be used widely because many kinds of foods are suitable for dry sake. There are also dry and heavy tastes and lightness, so please try ASSORTED SET to compare the difference. I also recommend that Otokoyama which is a dry one.

Dry with a clean finish. Stands up well to stronger cheese and fresh fruit.
