“I hope no one will be dissuaded from ordering this as a result of my lukewarm review. There is nothing wrong with this sake, and I really like the label. But there isn't enough there to get me excited. Perhaps more seasoned sake drinkers can appreciate more subtleties than I can, and I might even buy this again, since it is very reasonably priced, but there isn't a lot of what I am learning to understand as umami, which I guess is what I want in a sake.”
