“Didn't like this one. This was my first nigori so I was very excited to try it. Tastes/smells like rubbing alcohol. Not at all what I was hoping for.”
We are glad you ventured out to try this nigori, and are sad you didn't like it. With 15-16% alcohol, some sake do have alcoholic smell, and this is a dry one with not as much sweetness to mask it. We may suggest you try some of our best sellers like the thicker, rich, Kurosawa "Nigori" or the premium Dassai 45 "Nigori".
