“I did not enjoy this as a sipping sake. There is an odd after feel and taste that I cannot place. It's not a bad taste but its a sharp flavor. I enjoyed it much better with dinner.”
“It's not a bad sake by any means, but the mouthfeel was a bit too thick and syrupy for our group's taste. It also lacks the depth of other Nigori sakes at a similar price point. I would 100% of the time spend a few more dollars for the Dassai 45. We served chilled with Tonkatsu but if I ever try again I might consider citrus and fish as a better pairing.”
