Kawatsuru “Olive” Reviews

An interesting sake, but ultimately not as much funk as I was expecting. Would order again, but I didn't really notice the olive.

Pine-like notes with a balanced clear, dry pallet that brings up memories of late summer and fall. Just enough sweetness to finish softly. Went well with creamy blue cheese spicy dried fish snacks.

I really enjoy this saké. Brewed down south on Shikoku Island in Kagawa (shochu country), I was in saké heaven. Pleasantly sweet but not overly. Beautifully presented in a lovely 720ml bottle. It was like kissing an angel. Round and sexy with a long, juicy tall, I felt like a prince when I drank it. And THIS one I put on my “MUST HAVE AGAIN” list. Kanpai 乾杯

My hat is off. Compliments to the toji 杜氏 and kurabito 蔵人 who worked so hard to create this sensational Nihonshu 日本酒. A very pleasant nose. A touch of sweetness. A hint of fruit. The look of wine grape wine. A delightful, sexy tail. It is all here. Buy this saké. Wonderful with food. Fantastic glass after glass with your lovely loved one. Life it good . This brew will remind you of that; enjoy the moment.
