4.2 Rating 20 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

Trimming and maintaining banks, roadsides, ditches, and shorelines can be challenging. Thankfully, our bank mowers are built to efficiently handle overgrown grass on ditches and embankments.
Equipped with forged hammer flail blades, these mowers can cut and mulch material up to 3" in diameter in one pass. The finely shredded cuttings act as a fast-decomposing, micronutrient-rich fertilizer, nourishing your land. The trimmings drop directly to the ground, reducing debris. Plus, an adjustable rear roller provides precise cutting height control, ensuring a clean, even cut on uneven terrain.
The 48", 57", and 65" models are compatible with Category 1 tractors, offering a 65-degree up-and-down pivot and 90-degree vertical rotation for easy maneuvering. The 78" model, built for Category 2 tractors, pivots 90 degrees up and 49 degrees down, delivering a precise, clean cut every time.

The blades break off way to easy. The casting must be bad. I completed one 10 ace mowing and all but 2 blades broke off my fail mower. I reach out to support and they said the blade are not covered as they are wear and tear items. I explaind it was on one mowing job and all but 2 failed. It would be quite expensive to replace poor quality bladed every mow..... The mower appears to be fine but I would not recomment if you are not willing to replace all hammer blades after one to to mows!

The teeth on the mower break pretty easily around tree stumps or any rock.

It’s much better at cutting less dense brush than thick grass. I have a 30hp John Deere. Non hydrostatic. Keep popping the sheet pins on the PTO shaft. As I cut yesterday I changed it 3 times. Definitely more delicate than a bush hog in what it can cut and the speed you can cut at. Its versatility is the only reason I’m not terribly disappointed with it. So know what your buying and that you will have to learn its limitations. Thick grass you will need to lift it up quite a bit. Semi dense brush you are fine. Also in the semi vertical cutting position it would be better if the unit sat 4 to 6 inches higher when you have it all the way up. Was hoping it could cut side brush better but the housing on the side will hit the ground. Again just know what you are getting.

I have a lot of briars along my trails in the woods and my bush hog only does the trail itself and not the sides which are either sloped up or down depending on which side. So I needed something that could extend beyond my tractor and also account for the up or down slope. This did the job chewing up everything in its path, only down side is it did not extend out as much as I would of liked.

Mower was shipped via standard freight. It arrived in very good condition. It was packed and crated very well. The PTO shaft was underneath the mower housing. I was surprised that the sub assemblies were shipped partially/mostly assembled. No assembly instructions in the crate but it wasn't a problem since I downloaded the manual from Titan. Assembly went better than I expected since I had no helper. I did use a hydraulic lift table and some pry bars to help align bolts with bolt holes. I didn't insert the pry bars in bearings (not recommended!). As others have mentioned, flow restrictors are needed (and will be added to mine). My MX Kubota moves the cylinders too fast as it is now. It is easy to overshoot the intended spot with the fast hydraulics. The unit mows well, especially compared with a rotary brush cutter. The quality of the cut with new hammers is about halfway between a finish mower and a brush cutter, maybe slightly more towards the finish mower. I can see where it will be easy to hang the mower if not being careful. I deducted a star for lack of hydraulic snubbers, but am otherwise pleased with the unit so far.

This is the second mower of this type we have purchased. Not that we had problems with the first. It fit our needs so well we decided a second one could be used to replace an old brush hog. We were not disappointed. The machines are used to mow over 100 acres of fields, and roads. We also mow over 2000 feet of berms, and ditches on a Christmas tree farm and sugar woods.
