I bought this rack and all the hardware was absolutely terrible. By that I mean the nuts didn’t screw onto the bolts well at all. I ended up having to go to Home Depot and getting new 5/8 bolts and 5/8 nuts in order for these to fit. Once I did, it was assembled easily. But didn’t expect that and shouldn’t have to account for extra cost for that.

I got the shorter size/24 depth and I couldn’t be happier. No clearance issues while performing pull-ups. There’s plenty space for a spotter. Pretty sturdy without the lower braces. Although I would recommend bolting base securely to floor.

I've had this rack setup in my garage for a few weeks now. It is rock solid with no movement even when doing kipping pull-ups. 2x3 bars definitely solid for home use.
