The bar is easy to install, although I had to use 2x10’s for header boards due to installation on a drywall wall. The finish on the bar is great. My wife is fairly picky about the type of grip and finish she likes for pull up bar and she loves this one.

Because my walls were weaker I had to get some longer lag screws and Mount a 2x4 between the wall and the bar. But this product is sturdy and it works great. I use it every day I’m 6’4 240 for reference.

I purchase items for a facility and the ease of the purchase was perfect. Titan Fitness kept me aware of all the details and the item showed up on time.

Should have thought it out better before purchasing this wall mounted pull-up bar. I'm 5'11, 270 lbs. Pretty heavy for dead hanging with the bar mounted over 30 inches from the wall. Seems the leverage would place undue stress on the wall studs after some time. Also (and this is a big one), the bar would hang too low from a nine foot ceiling not allowing my 5'11 frame to free hang without feet touching the floor. Unfortunately, I threw the mangled shipping box away and the return shipping costs would negate sending back otherwise, this is what I would do.

The first one that was sent to me didn't include the horizontal bar, but they remedied that quickly (by sending a whole new unit because they didn't have the replacement part available). I was happy they were able to replace it quickly, but now I have to get rid of the other 2 bar mounts and am having some difficulty getting anyone to take it. Overall though, I love the new bar. It was a bit tricky to get it set up because after watching a Youtube video and reading comments, I decided to put a full 3/4" plywood board behind it to keep the drywall safe and to add extra stability. It was probably overkill, but it feels so sturdy that I'm happy I did that (using it with rings, TRX and to do pullups, etc). I ended up getting different lag bolts (4" long) to account for having to go through the board. And I drilled decking screws into the 2 middle studs (between the pull-up bar side mounts) every 2" to make sure the board stayed secure. The biggest difficulty was in holding up the heavy plywood board and getting it level, despite having marked everything on the wall and board very thoroughly (luckily my husband was able to hold it and make slight movements with it while I carefully leveled it). I've been using it for a few weeks, and it's fantastic. No problems or creaking at all when using the rings or TRX or doing pullups on it (I'm 140 lbs for reference and my husband is about 180). I'm confident that this setup would hold a much heavier person. I'd at least put the vertical backing boards behind it on either side when installing for extra stability (not necessarily a full plywood board like I did), but an engineer who made a video on Youtube about installing this advised me and was very helpful, so I went with his recommendation.

brackets are solid, included lag screws seemed OK but I got my own one size thicker (3/8") and much longer (4") so that after 1" of bracket + 1/2" drywall there would 2.5" in the stud. Washers included are barely bigger than mounting holes, got my own. worse problem was after getting the brackets mounted on the wall perfectly level (measured with a bubble level) the holes to slide the bar through were not truly straight so had to file them until the bar could slide through. Altogether, looks like a clone of a rogue fitness pull-up bar that is triple the price and, with some extra hardware and filing, works just as well.
