“I bought the Pull Up Bar not knowing which model I purchased ( there's a 400# and 500# models available). I guess I purchased the 400# model (fine for my weight). As mentioned in one of the previous reviews, the frame for the bar came scratched. Poor packaging, obviously! Rather than send it back, I touched up the "ding" with a black felt pen. The bar itself is a little big in diameter for my hand size, so I retrofitted the bar with a smaller diameter bar. I think Titan should offer the different bar diameters with their Pull Up Bar package. I talked to a customer service representative (whom I could hardly understand), explained the problem and asked for two or three of the white decals that came with the unit. She made excuses for the damaged product and told me she couldn't send me any additional decals. I more than likely, will not make any purchases from Tiatan. I would like one of the T-2 racks, but whould be very nervous about purchasing it without seeing it in person first. Thank you, John G”

“Great pull-up bar.....solid steel construction....installation is pretty easy, not complicated. I installed it myself, however, if you have someone to assist you with the install it would make it even easier to install. Important to use a stud-finder so your lag-bolts will go into the solid wood of the studs. Drill pilot holes first before installing the large lag-bolts. Use a small level up against the metal supports while drilling the pilot holes to assure lover all evelness.”

“I like it now that it's installed, but I had to do a tremendous amount of violence to the bar to get fit through the hole on the mount, including sanding it with a power tool and hitting it with a mallet probably 100 times or so. Doing so of course messed up the finish.”
