Read Titan Fitness Reviews

This vertical leg press machine allows you to rest on your back and lift the load directly above your hips to isolate your lower body. That means you can work your quads, calves, glutes, and hamstrings from your home gym without putting stress on your back and shoulders. With an adjustable starting height, this machine is ideal for athletes of all sizes with a choice between four starting points – and features three weight plate horns that fit 45 LB Olympic weight plates. Plus, a diamond-plated footplate provides non-slip performance while you work out. Crafted with durable steel and thick padding, this machine is built for long-lasting comfort.
NOTE: Extra lubrication may be needed on the plate horns for a smooth slide.

I am a 67 year old male and have been trying to add some mass to my bony glutes but most exercises are painful for my arthritic back so I knew the only way to go was with a hack squat or vertical leg press. We have a pretty comprehensive gym setup in our basement but space is at a bit of a premium so compact size was a must. I really appreciate the way this machine is assembled, completely logical and even easier if you download the shop drawing from the Titan webpage, I am used to mechanical shop drawings being a retired construction worker so yeah all you need is a socket wrench and an adjustable wrench for the whole job. All the parts were machined and painted nicely and everything lined up well during assembly. The function of the machine is exactly what I was looking for, it's rated for 400 pounds but I will probably never use more than 100 pounds being that I am old and only weigh 130 pounds. I was however into bodybuilding building for many years when I was younger and I must say this is some quality equipment and especially for the price. I was shopping for this on Amazon but ended up getting this machine directly from Titan and saved some money.

Literally nothing to complain about. Works great, priced great, and it's one heck of a leg workout.

I used to do this exercise on the Smith machine at the gym using the bar and rolling it on my feet it's so much nicer having a platform. It dies need a lot of silicone keep it moving smoothly.

Solid, easy to put together. Only reason it has 4 stars is due to the presses lack of fluidity. Even after greasing it, still feels a bit still.

The leg press worked well once set up. Instructions were horrible. The numbers in the instructions did not match the numbers on the screw hardware. So you were pretty much on your own. Ironic, as they stated that the equipment should be assembled as directed to avoid injury or death.
