“Bought this mount with the Titan Heavy Bag resting on the floor. After about 3 weeks of consistent use several times a week the weld holding the mount in the extended position broke. I'm no Mike Tyson so I was surprised at how short of a time this mount lasted given the high quality of the other Titan products I've purchased.”

“This wall mount is perfect for a space saving item on my gym garage. Enough space to Box around the bag and it retracts perfectly against the wall. Awesome idea and one of a kind!!!”

“The bolt for the lower hinge is too short to engage the nylon of the lock nut. Be aware the lock nut will likely loosen over time as a result resulting in a potential safety concern. I requested a longer bolt from Titan and they denied that request.”

“Everything ab this mount is great. Installed using 2x4’s mounted to studs and then mounted frame to those. Only problem is the knob used to hold the bag in place doesn’t screw in once I had everything hung. Did not appear to be “lined up” once I have a bag hanging. Using a 70lb bag. Just using a hitch pin and it is working fine.”

“First, the good stuff--4 feet is a great amount of space and I love being able to fold the bag against the wall. Despite supporting a 100 lb heavy bag, it is easy to move the arm. It seems fairly sturdy, but overall has a subtle profile on the wall relative to a giant stand. I love the idea of the design and you really can't beat $60 for a heavy bag mount. So, although it cost me a bit more in additional materials and time, I think I'd buy it again as of today. There were several issues, and I'm wondering if "working weight" 100 lbs means this is designed to hold a 100 lb bag, or that it can take 100 lbs of force at any one time. I hope the former, since that's what I'm using it for, but the mount seems to struggle with my ~107 lb bag. First and foremost, the top mounting bracket started bowing out away from the wall slightly after I installed the mount and used the bag for the first time. The weight of the bag is concentrated in the center of the bracket, where the arm joins the wall bracket, but the bracket only has holes for lag screws on the ends. I ended up drilling two holes through the metal bracket so that I could add two more lag screws, one on each side of the arm toward the center. This seems to be helping keep everything in place so far. (Note that I mounted everything to two 2x4s as opposed to directly into the wall.) Another major issue was already brought up by Dennis and Gary--the feature that makes this so great, being able to move the arm, is made useless by the misalignment between the holes where the knob is supposed to pass through and the threaded nut welded onto the mount! I am not sure what kind of lock pin Dennis and Gary used, but I'm having a hard time finding anything to use there. It seems like sticking a simple metal bar (like a lock pin for weights) up through both the holes from the bottom won't work because it will just fall back down. And the arm is in the way of anything long going down and through from above, so I'm still exploring options there. Lastly, I think mine came without an eye hook, which was annoying, but I won't rule out the possibility that it fell out in transit. I bought an eye hook and supplemented it with some additional flat washers, lock washers, and a lock nut with nylon. Overall, the mount felt a little rickety at first, but with my modifications seems solid now as far as I can tell. As soon as I can implement a fix for the misaligned knob, I'm hoping it will pass muster!”

“The holder is very strong, I use it with a 100lb bag and seems to have no problem its very easy to install but I recommend reinforcing the wall with a 2 x 12 just for safe measure. The only draw back is the knob screw as in the first review, mine did not line up properly and it was difficult to hold the bag and attempt to screw the knob on. It just would not line up. I used Gary's suggestion. I hope Titan will read these reviews and fix the problem. I am very happy about the size 4ft off the wall gives plenty of room to move around the bag when working out. I priced every heavy bag wall holder I could find on the net with similar features and this one was the best for the price. I do recommend this product it will save you room and keep you from loading and unloading your bag.”

“folds up nicely, the added shock keeps it from swinging too much when opening/closing. my only con is that they hole for the knob on the bottom doesnt line up with the threaded portion so i cant lock it in place as it is intended. using a lock pin instead, which works fine. I am sure it is a minor defect in the welding.”
