“Knurling is great. They look & feel good. They actually weigh 40lbs. (weigh your new weights people) Would round up to 5* if it wasn't for the customer support on them. Tried to cancel this order within the hour of placing it. The next day around 8am I get an email saying a ticket WAS NOT created for me, but I could submit one. Submitted the ticket and the response was, we try to ship everything out by noon the next day to provide best service. "You should've contacted us sooner" was the jist of what I got, despite me submitting my ticket well before noon. When I brought up the first communication and the ticket I submitted being as timely as possible, I was met with, "we can't cancel orders." With the shipping, and "best possible service" communications I figured I'd get them reasonably quick, and I did get one dumbbell rather quickly. Took less than one week for the first one to arrive, another week for the next one... I ordered a different pair off amazon (this weight wasn't available on Amazon) and they canceled it for me without issue or multiple attempts. My ONLY gripe with actual dumbbell is the finish on the dumbbell head is quite slick. I train people all day, sometimes I get dumbbells out of the way for them. I've literally dropped these things twice already just moving them. That doubles my rate over the last 8 years. I am grabbing them by the head, not the handle... HANDLE... So that's really on me, but I do like to use dumbbells for goblet squats and such that require gripping the head too.”
