The Quick Release Collars fit onto standard 2-in. diameter Olympic barbells or loadable dumbbells to safely lift the bar without fear of plates falling off. All you need to do is squeeze the handles together to pull off and remove or add weight plates and then replace. Built for Olympic sized weightlifting equipment, these collars will fit 50mm diameter sleeves once clamped. The aluminum construction of these clamps will speak for themselves; their durable build will last for years with proper care. The TITAN sticker logo is affixed to each collar, atop the sleek fire red paint job.
NOTE: These are not designed to be thrown or dropped while on a barbell.

“Of the two clamps received, one of them would frequently release and fall off when simply dropping 135lbs onto the Titan silencer pads. I tried switching sides, switching bars, etc. and the one clamp would still release itself and fly off. It actually punctured a hole in one of my silencer pads. However, the other clamp stayed on nice and tight through all movements, so assuking I just received a defective clamp. I'm attempting to return the pair and either ask for a replacement or purchase a competing brand's clamps.”

“They are fine for movement from a rack or rig, but any time you drop a weighted barbell with these clips, they come within 2-3 drops. So if you are planning to use them for clean and jerks or snatches, I do not recommend.”

“Look great and hold plates secure for slow static movements. There was some inconsistency in collars as one of the collars received doesn't fit as tight on the barbel sleeve.i haven't explored the option of tightening the locking lever it may be easily fixed. I like to keep brand integrity so I would recommend them for use on Titan power lifting bars but maybe not as good for Olympic bars.”

“These seemed legit but work about as good as those 10 dollar plastic ring clamps you get on Amazon. Of course these are good metal and will last a while… but just not strong enough for dropping loadable dumbbells over 20 lbs from knee height.”

“Surprised by its effectiveness, these collars act like vice grips. The collars do not tighten up around the circumference of the Olympic barbell but rather clamp to barbell with a quick release handle. Think of it has vice grips attaching to a nut on a bolt. Elegant and effective.”

“Looking for 2 things out of clamps 1. Easy on/off when changing weight 2. Holds the weight in place and doesn’t slip down the bar. These are awkward to get on and off. And slip way too easily. I replaced with much cheaper spring clamps and those work so much better.”
