“If you are going to mount on a wall, you MUST anchor into the studs. The problem with this is that normal stud spacing is 16 inches but the holes on the hanger are 10 inches apart. I had to mount a 2x4 on the wall then mount the hanger on the 2x4. And I painted the 2x4 black to match my wall otherwise I thought it would be an eye sore. The hanger itself is solid, very good quality and looks great in my garage gym!”

“This does not work for all bars! My Safety Squat Bar and my multi grip bar have a larger shaft then my standard barbell and DO NOT FIT! To be fair I probably should have figured that out in advanced and now I have an excuse to buy more bars! Its size is good and I was able to bolt it to a 12" extension on my rack with the included hardware. Finish is nice with plenty of UHMW.”

“I have this and the cup style horizontal mount barbell holder. This one is much easier to use, and protects bars much better, the cup style one started to chip the plating off my bar. It is a tight fit when holding specialty bars, but there's usually enough clearance to store a straight bar along with a specialty bar. may get in the way of plate storage on a 24" T3 extension, clearances are tight. I'm probably going to add another on the other side of my extension.”
