“I had an injury using dumbbells for shoulder press. In order to prevent a re-occurrence, I needed a shoulder press machine that could be easily lowered to a resting position. This machine is perfect.
I have already gained back most of my strength without fear of injury.
Since it is plate loaded, and the plates sit behind you, I suspect there is a lever effect, reducing the actual weight lifted compared to the weight of the plates. Maybe the weight of the machine arms makes up for that. If there were a conversion chart to tell the actual weight lifted for various weights, that would be nice. I have a lat machine that has pulleys and cables, and there is a conversion chart for that. For example, if you have the pin set on 120#, the actual lift is more, about 140 lbs.”
“Not a bad machine easy to put together
Only down fall is you have to download the manual instructions online.
I like having the paper copy instead of the phone”
“Absolutely love this machine.Amazed at how small it is but gives you a great workout. My son thinks the range of motion on overhead press is short but that is because he is use to using dumbells where you can touch them together.”
“This machine is very well made and well constructed and works the delts perfectly. Just a tip make sure that the weight plate holder (8) is slanted up and not down so the weights don't slide off. Great machine.”
