Build powerful, defined calves. This seated calf raise machine keeps your knees at a 90-degree angle to isolate the soleus - the deep calf muscle that drives optimal size, endurance, and strength gains. With 9.5" Olympic weight sleeves, you can load up to 550 LB of plates - ample capacity for progressive overload.
With four adjustable thigh pad settings, you can dial in your machine for comfort and custom stability - so all your effort goes to your calves, not on stabilizing yourself.
Built with a robust steel frame and solid welds, this ergonomic design features a premium padded vinyl seat, a vertical hand grip, and slip-free diamond-plated foot bars for comfortable, stable positioning.

Not the most sturdy but it works. Not expensive so I definitely recommend the purchase. Easy to assemble.

Solid machine. My only suggestion would be to add a bushing for the seat post bolt on the post itself like on the beam to reduce play in the beam / post assembly.

This is a solid cash machine for the money. I was able to get a huge discount because of black Friday sales so it was even a better deal yet.

You won't find a better seated calf raise machine for less than $160. It's easy to assemble and sturdy. A few things I came across that would make it a better design. 1. I would change the knee/upper quad pad design so there's more padding like what is used on the shoulders for a hack squat machine. Instead of the Cushion running through the pole piece, it ran under it. Therefore, your getting all the Cushion support on the knee/upper quad and not just half of it. 2. The foot plate, I would make it a durable rubber for more grip if wearing socks or flatter shoes for more toe to calf contraction control. 3. Include plate clamps specific for the machine when heavy plate loading it. They slide without clamps in place during reps. I had to hunt for clamps that fit since my current ones are slightly bigger. The calf machine bar is smaller that Olympic 2inchs by a smedge or at least, the one I have is slightly off. 4. Make the seat wider by adding about 3 inches each side. Overall, it's worth the money if you don't want to spend $400+ for the commercial grade ones to get the same results.

It does what is needs to without breaking the bank. Other calf raise machines I’ve looked at cost upward of a thousand to two thousand dollars for the same results this machine does.

Not commercial but not a crappy home unit either. Definitely does the job. Pretty solid piece. People complaining about the pads not being cushioned enough have to get a grip. They are fine. Fast shipping. Easy assembly.
