“I really have not had a chance to test them yet, but they seem to be of good quality. I just would not use spring collars with them, because I saw a review in which someone did, and one of the projecting pieces of metal pierced the vinyl covering. This makes sense to not allow extremely concentrated impact by a spear like shaped object, but the reviewer blamed the product.”

“Like a lot of people during the pandemic, my wife and I converted our garage into a home gym. However, our garage is located below the living room of our neighbors, so minimizing noise was a must. We immediately purchased two sets of Titan's original Silencer Drop Pads (the red ones) and they were a lifesaver. We've used them for everything. Literally. Even stacking them for box jumps, or placing a flat bench on them for incline bench press. And of course, dropping all the weights on them. The list goes on. Well, two years later it was time to reinvest so we ordered them again. However, we only had the option to order the new black ones. Cool...different color. No big deal. Well, not only did the color change but the pad is even better than before. The cushion itself is still strong and absorbs so much noise, but now the cover of the pad is even better. The material is so nice and the black will hide all the scuff marks from weights and life in the gym. If you're on the fence about getting them, just do it already. It's worth every penny.”

“I use the drop pads for a weightlifting platform I built inside the living room of my apartment. They function perfectly well to cushion weight drops from overhead.”
